Democracy, Politics and You
Politics affects everything around you every day, from how much the bus costs, to the price of food ever what you learn at school or college, and that is just naming a few things.
Young people have the opportunity to have your voice heard on a national scale through projects like Welsh Youth Parliament and UK Youth Parliament. Projects such as these give young people a voice on what happens in Wales and the UK by having young people a chance to speak with politicians and decision makers and trying to influence change for young people.
Politics can look confusing but if you would like to learn more about politics yourself, or if you are part of a school council, Senedd or youth council, and think your group would like to learn more, take a look at the links below, or to have a session about UK and Welsh politics and democracy delivered at your group email, Allyn on allyn.jones@rctcbc.gov.uk
